There are players that have most of the tanks leveled to maximum, and then play the strongest/meta choice in order to progress through the most difficult content. In my view DH is probably the most friendly to new tanks as they have the fewest buttons and the most easily understood kit. Generally speaking proc warriors are probably the most difficult to learn because they require a lot of fight knowledge to time and space out their abilities. They have some mobility but not like a DH. They have a lot of abilities that give them temporary health, more armor and flat damage reduction. Proc warrior - has tended to be the king of mitigation. They also have a (relatively) simple kit that works well. They are able to reposition and pull threat on mobs the easiest. Their life pool tends to yo-yo during fights as they take big hits and heal up after.ĭH - also has a lot of self healing (not as bursty as blood) and are one of the most mobile tanks. How they do those things are different.īDK - Has some of the highest and burstiest self healing. Every tank spec in the game will do those things. Control threat, mitigate damage, handle mechanics and act as dungeon lead.
